Ben Gurion University - Ofer Neiman (Dept of
Math/Computers) Lobbies for Arab Violence against the Jews
In exposing the behavior of
Israel's academic leftists, Isracampus reports in most cases about
well-educated people who like to define themselves as "peace
activists," who believe they think beyond the curve, and as
"humanitarians" who are concerned about abuses of the Arabs by
nationalistic Jews. Most of course seem to view the world in a
Manichean mindset, that is, all is good or bad and there is no gray
in-between. They often claim that Israel is the embodiment of evil,
of oppressive colonialism and apartheid. These people gravitate to
Academia where they can get tenured and be sheltered from
accountability. Political Cronyism among other faculty and staff
converts Israeli academia into a self-perpetuating bureaucracy
misinterpreted as "academic freedom."
This describes tenured treason superstar in Math
and Computer Science Professor Ofer Neiman at
Ben Gurion University. He is an
open advocate of Palestinian violence against Jews.
…
Neiman is one of the leaders of the Boycott Within movement,
which consists of Israelis urging world boycotts of their own
countrymen. They promote these boycotts from within
Israel,
even against the University that employs Neiman:
Quoting Neiman: "There are Israelis -- not just a
few -- who think this is equivalent to treason. I disagree… Ours in
not a violent campaign… And another thing about BDS is that it gives
a voice to people all over the world…"
Sorry, but no, Ofer, it is treason when someone
lobbies for those who want to harm one's fellow countrymen and one
aids and abets a genocidal enemy.
Economic aggression under the guise of "BDS"
or "Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions," ultimately directed at
Israeli children, is violence. Indicting those engaged in
BDS
treason is resistance.

All of the above quotations apply aptly to
Ben Gurion U.'s mathematics and computers Professor Ofer Neiman.
The fellow despises his own country and makes little attempt to hide
this.
In exposing the behavior of
Israel's academic leftists, Isracampus reports in most cases about
well-educated people who like to define themselves as "peace
activists," who believe they think beyond the curve, and as
"humanitarians" who are concerned about abuses of the Arabs by
nationalistic Jews. Most of course seem to view the world in a
Manichean mindset, that is, all is good or bad and there is no gray
in-between. They often claim that Israel is the embodiment of evil,
of oppressive colonialism and apartheid. These people gravitate to
Academia where they can get tenured and be sheltered from
accountability. Political Cronyism among other faculty and staff
converts Israeli academia into a self-perpetuating bureaucracy
misinterpreted as "academic freedom."
This describes tenured treason superstar in Math
and Computer Science Professor Ofer Neiman at
Ben Gurion University. He is an open advocate of Palestinian
violence against Jews.
Here's a quote from Neiman in an
article published on the anti-Semitic pro-jihad Mondoweiss Blog
on the Web, in which he criticizes another activist for recommending
civil disobedience over violence:
"Kristof recommends that Palestinians send out only
those people highly trained in civil disobedience. This does make
some sense, considering acts of stone throwing I have witnessed
around me during demonstrations (it should be stressed that throwing
stones by Palestinians at well- armed Israeli soldiers enforcing a
violent occupation is certainly not a criminal act). However, his
Indian example seems to fail: Israeli soldiers will not just club
the demonstrators. They will shoot them. This is certainly true for
the 'no-entry' zones inside the
Gaza strip, declared by
Israel."
Here we see Neiman at his tenured best. Throwing a
rock at an Israeli soldier is not a criminal act. I wonder how
Neiman would react if his students in the IDF threw rocks at him in
class; he'd almost certainly call the police to protect him. Hamas,
of course, has armed terrorists that comprise an army, men who
follow a charter that calls for the deaths of all the world's Jews,
not just Israelis. And those 'no-entry zones' are so missiles cannot
be fired on Neiman's fellow Israelis in the South.
He continues:
"And isn't it strange that Kristof omits cases of
protester violence in
Iran last year? For some reason, this violence does not taint the
Iranian struggle, but the much much (sic) milder Palestinian act of
stone throwing does…" Of course, the Iranian protestors were
fighting the Basiji stormtroopers who murdered Iranians seeking
democracy (along with imported Palestinian enforcers). Comparing
them to IDF soldiers stopping suicide bombers and terrorists who
prey upon Neiman's fellow Israelis is instructive.
Some intellectuals believe math is the ultimate
truth, so one might expect a math professor like Neiman to rely upon
facts. His Facebook page is festooned with contacts and 'liked'
photos of every anti-Semite and Jewish kapo in the current
Israeli-Palestinian impasse. These include
Mazen Qumisyeh, a co-founder of Al Awda and ISM leader who
insists Jews have no right to live in a Jewish state, and
Jeff Halper of ICHAD, which went to
Gaza
to help the Hamas government try and import weapons by sea to kill
more Jews.
Neiman was sacked by the Israeli Air Force
intelligence corps because he joined the treasonous 'Breaking the
Silence.' That group
was proven to have lied to the Media about "atrocities"
allegedly committed by the IDF during Cast Lead, when it was
determined their "eyewitnesses" were never even where they claimed
to have been. Neiman
also promotes B'tselem on his Facebook page, another "peace"
group that routinely fabricates false flags against
Israel and Jewish settlers.
I disagree. First of
all, it's a non-violent campaign. It's very important to emphasize
this. You know,
Israel has been imposing much more strict measures of boycott and
sanctions on the Palestinian population. Ours in not a violent
campaign. Israel's blockade is a violent campaign of sanctions. And
another thing about BDS is that it gives a voice to people all over
the world. Someone living in the States can join this initiative and
can be active. I think it's very important because many people all
over the world -- especially American citizens who are fed up with
American policies, including Obama's policies in the Middle East --
now they do something; there's a global campaign, and people can
join this campaign."
Neiman even hates his fellow academics when they
fail to devote themselves to such treason: "Tel
Aviv University, they have a center for strategic studies inside the
university, and they have all sorts of academic experts, or
so-called experts, issuing policy papers. And some of these policy
papers include recommendations to commit acts that from our point of
view here, are war crimes or oppressive or violations of human
rights.
Haifa
University, they have a special program for IDF (Israel Defense
Forces) officers, which makes it easier for IDF officers to obtain
their academic degree. These are just a few examples of cooperation
between Israeli universities and the Israeli military
establishment."
Neiman clearly would like to see a special training
program at
Ben
Gurion University for Hamas rocket crews.
"The campaign's focus is on the occupation, but at
least the Palestinian call for academic and cultural sanctions,
they're also talking about other important issues, like the refugee
problem and the treatment of Israeli Arabs -- Palestinians who are
Israeli citizens. None of these calls is trying to impose a certain
solution -- a one-state solution or a two-state solution -- but it's
important to clarify that it's not only about the occupation. This
campaign is a result of Israeli policy, because if
Israel had accepted the Saudi Initiative -- which is not just a
Saudi initiative, it's an initiative by the Arab League, a
comprehensive peace initiative based on the two-state solution and
the '67 borders, then there would be no BDS campaign."
The decision that the Israeli taxpayer should
continue subsidizing this traitor with a lifetime sinecure as he
works to aid those who would kill their families is an outrage and
an act of violence.
