University of Haifa and Beit Berl College - Working
from Within for a New Holocaust: Dalit Baum (Jihad Feminist)
Apparently, neither Haifa U nor Beit Berl mind
having their names linked to the annihilationist efforts of Dalit
Baum against Jews. Baum routinely breaks Israeli law by
organizing money and supplies to the Hamas in Gaza and in
general by calling for the end of the Jewish state. Her
self-described "career" is devoted to working in support of
"existing divestment campaigns" in the US, as well as helping to
build new ones through "education." "Global Exchange" has been part
of the "Viva Palestina Tours and Flotilla" campaign to aid Hamas
since their inception.
… Dalit Baum admits she does not want Israel to
exist at all, at least not as any Jewish state. "Palestine," all of
Palestine including Haifa and Tel Aviv, is "occupied" by the Jews.
In a lecture she gave in San Francisco for the benefit of the
pro-terror "Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)," an ISM group,
she explained that while some might think her campaign pertains only
to the West Bank and Gaza, she really does not distinguish at all
between "occupation" within the state of Israel itself and that in
the West Bank when she calls for the end to "occupation." What she
really wants is the end to Israel.
… "Global Exchange" supports Hamas in its quest to
destroy Israel and world Jewry. When Dalit Baum lectured the
Berkeley SJP last year she boasted she had cost the Israeli economy
billions of dollars through disrupting its ties with Europe. She
also boasted about how she interfered with security checkpoints in
Israel designed to keep out terrorists who kill Israeli civilians.
Her new campaign in the United States seeks to promote the same
agenda in America, particularly in US colleges. The officers of
Haifa and Beit Berl should remove Dalit Baum from her teaching
positions immediately.

Working from Within for a New
Holocaust: Prof. Dalit Baum (Jihad Feminist,
Haifa University and Beit Berl College)
By Lee Kaplan,
www.IsraCampus.org.il
2/6/2011
Israel's university system has already done enough
to embarrass itself by promoting the academic fifth column.
Nevertheless this newest bit of news out of Haifa University and
Beit Berl College shows it can still outdo itself.
Dalit Baum holds a PhD graduate degree in Mathematics. While
teaching "gender studies," with a supposed specialization in "global
economics," she actually has no credentials in either Gender
Studies, nor in Economics, other than
posturing her dislike of the males of the species and the Jews of
the planet. She has produced no significant books nor research
in "Gender Studies," other than boisterously linking her own
self-proclaimed homosexuality to what she claims is the "oppression"
of Arabs by Jews. She translates these passions into activism
disguised as academic work that promotes boycotts of the state of
Israel, and she supports the Jewish state's most vile enemies in
everything they do, including in terrorism. With the connivance of
two Israeli institutions of higher learning, Baum has invented for
herself a "new academic field": gender and global economics. She
knows nothing at all about economics and could not pass a pop quiz
in a freshman economics course.
A recent
press release put out by a
group calling itself "Global
Exchange" describes Baum as a "feminist scholar and teacher in
Israel, teaching about militarism and about the global economy from
a feminist perspective in the Haifa University and the Beit Berl
College. This year she is visiting the U.S. as an activist in
residence with Global Exchange, directing a new program titled
Economic Activism for Palestine, which aims to support existing
divestment campaigns in the U.S. as well as help new ones through
education, training, networking and the development of dedicated
tools." "Global Exchange" is in fact a part of Code Pink, Medea
Benjamin's San Francisco based anti-Israel and anti-US group
affiliated with the International Solidarity Movement.
Here Baum self-defines: "I'm Dalit Baum, and as a feminist
anti-occupation activist teaching gender and the global economy at
Haifa University and Beit Berl College in Israel, I found these
questions crucial to our work for justice in Palestine. To try to
answer them I helped start and have coordinated an activist research
initiative called Who Profits from the Occupation within the
Coalition of Women for Peace in Israel. During the last four years,
Who Profits has become a vital resource for dozens of campaigns
around the world, providing information about corporate complicity
in the occupation of Palestine."
She continues, "The Economic Activism for Palestine project responds
to the July 2005 Unified Call of Palestinian civil society for a
wide variety of initiatives such as boycotts, divestment and
sanctions until Israel complies with international law and universal
principles of human rights. Through our new project, Global
Exchange, we will increase its participation in a growing network of
civil society initiatives around the world, dedicated to changing
corporate policies and making the occupation less profitable. We
will support existing campaigns for divestment and corporate
accountability nationally, as well as help create new ones through
education, training, networking and the development of dedicated
tools. I am very excited to be part of this new project and look
forward to working with you for justice in Palestine through
corporate accountability."
Dalit Baum admits she does not want Israel to exist at all, at least
not as any Jewish state. "Palestine," all of Palestine including
Haifa and Tel Aviv, is "occupied" by the Jews. In a lecture she gave
in San Francisco for the benefit of the pro-terror "Students for
Justice in Palestine (SJP)," an ISM group, she explained that while
some might think her campaign pertains only to the West Bank and
Gaza, she really does not distinguish at all between "occupation"
within the state of Israel itself and that in the West Bank when she
calls for the end to "occupation." What she really wants is the end
to Israel.
In a press release Dalit Baum urges those seeking to promote the
boycott of and divestment from Israel to contact her personally, to
invite her to speak in their communities and also calls on them to
read her article,
"Economic Activism: Working
Within."
Here's a juicy concluding quote from her article:
"Thus, we can safely say that most of the Israeli
economy is involved in the economy of the occupation and, from an
economic perspective, the Green Line is long gone. Choosing to call
for economic activism against Israeli corporations directly
complicit in the Israeli occupation, rather than calling for
economic activism against all significant Israeli corporations,
should be regarded as a strategic decision, since this distinction
is almost only a semantic one. However, tracing the occupation
involvement of corporations broadens our perspective, since, as our
database shows, many of the culprit companies are international
corporations."
"Working from within" is what a fifth column does,
and Dalit Baum does it as her full-time profession, in her "Who
Profits?" website. She claims now to be on "sabbatical" from the
University of Haifa, traveling the US calling to demand that Israel
be starved to death economically. It should be noted by American
donors that Baum in her article "Working from Within" also sees her
moral role as attempting to hurt the
US war effort against Al Qaeda in Afghanistan as well:
"As is the case in similar global settings, such as
the American military interventions in Afghanistan and Iraq, with
the rise of the occupation business, the corporate sector has a
higher stake in maintaining the occupation." No doubt Ms. Baum would
extend her boycott to those who recently rid the world of Osama Bin
Laden. Her sponsors at "Global Exchange" sent $600,000 in aid to the
"resistance" that was killing US Soldiers in Fallujah before the
capture and removal of Saddam Hussein. It's not hard to figure out
whose side Dalit Baum is on in the War on Terror.
"Global Exchange" supports Hamas in its quest to
destroy Israel and world Jewry.
